We are committed to bringing the community into our science, and sharing our science with the community.  Please get in touch if you would like to find out how to get involved!

Research Opportunities for High School Students and K12 Teachers

We participate in the Summer Research Connection (SRC) arranged by the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Outreach (CTLO) here at Caltech.  Each summer we have a team of high school students and K12 teachers perform research with us.

If you are interested, contact Mitch Aiken at the CTLO.

Talks and Demonstrations for the Public and Schools

We are excited to help bring science to our community through Science Nights, school visits, helping with science/engineering fairs, demonstrations, and more.  Many of these events are arranged by the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Outreach, but you can also contact us directly.

We were featured in Pasadena Outlook for our part in helping the Chandler School take a journey to space (without leaving the comfortable confines of Caltech...)
